Architectural Services

Okay so I have been thinking about this for some time now...why does no-one seem to run their architectural service on the internet..?

I tried to think of the excuses. From architects and technicians I hear that they need to have one on one contact with their clients. But come one think about. In the old days I know (I am still fond of them) deals were struck in the living room or on the golf course...but is that still so? Years ago I remember the advent of the conference call. Some time later video conferencing. Now there is facebook and a list of other internet based meeting places used by some many people.

The other argument is about getting a product to the client, you know the good old print to paper argument. To be honest, that argument is not even worth the time...universal file formats anyone...?PDF,DWF, PLT files. Whether you want the client to print the page himself, simply view it and comment, or give him the final product in a format he can have printed, it is all as easy as the click of a few mouse buttons. With the latest technology from a company like Autodesk, you can even upload the drawing to the internet as an HTML document and have a live chat with the client with both of you making notes on the actual drawing. All from the comfort of your own bed in the morning with your favourite biscuit and cup of coffee!

Can anyone say good idea.

Look, think about it, no more after hours appointments because your client works until 5 in the afternoon. For clients, no making sure you can get time off to go to the architects office for an appointment during office hours or making sure your house is tidy enough before the architect comes out to see you. No more ink and paper wastage. No more waiting...FULL stop.

The drawing file is simply emailed to and from the client. The whole process is managed electronically.

And the best of all! For all the clients out there! It's cheaper! Or at least it should be. Quicker work, easier to manage, less traveling and admin costs! All this equates to what should be a cheaper service!

Wanna try it...? Architects and clients alike. Drop us an email at archpestyle@in.com for a free quote, or more information.
